Social media is one of the most powerful tools nonprofits can use to build awareness, engage supporters and inspire donations. But with so much content competing for attention, having a thoughtful strategy is essential.

This week, Give More 24! participants had the opportunity to strengthen their social media strategy during “Building Your Social Media Strategy,” an interactive workshop designed specifically to help local nonprofits make the most of their online presence.

Social media experts Lacey J. Faught, owner of Spry, and Derick Lock, Creative Director & Partner at Blue Blazes, led the session, sharing practical tips, creative ideas and proven strategies nonprofits can put into action right away.

Turning Social Media Into a Campaign Tool

The workshop focused on ways nonprofits can use social media to stand out online and create meaningful connections with their audiences throughout their Give More 24! campaigns.

Participants explored strategies for creating engaging content, strengthening their online presence and using social media to help tell their organization's story. The session also offered practical ideas for connecting with donors and building momentum leading up to Give More 24!

Whether you're looking to improve your content, reach new supporters or create a stronger connection with your existing audience, a well-planned social media strategy can make a meaningful difference.
